Completed in January 2014, it marks a new momentum in artist’s practice by capturing the process of rejuvenation and nature’s transformation in a realist manner, with oversized  “Pussy Willow” branches.

It resonates with artist’s first impression of seasonal change in Singapore and its specific traditions related to Chinese New Year celebration, remembering similar forms of observing beginning of new year in native Romania, with rituals performed starting from First of March and during Easter period.
